For school leavers
Your final grades decide where you can apply, not what you should study.
Everyone has asked what you want to do. The aptitude test at school named three careers and gave a reason for none of them. Your parents have an opinion, a friend already picked a degree, and you have a feeling, and none of that is evidence. Applications close on a date that has nothing to do with when you will actually know.
You are paying for this choice, and you are the one who has to live with it. Getting it wrong costs a year and money you do not have spare. That is worth more than a guess.
What we do
We map who you are, then score the options you are considering against it.
QuantumThrive Hub builds you a Career Identity Artefact. It looks at you through three or four lenses, where a lens is one way of looking at a person, and brings what they show into one portrait. It also holds an honest score of how well each option you are considering fits that portrait. You get the portrait and the scores. What you do with them is your decision.
How it works
How the method works
Your Career Identity Artefact draws on up to four separate lenses on who you are, each one done independently, then synthesised into a single portrait. The focused build carries three; the comprehensive build carries all four.
Eigenprint Type is our own assessment of how you take in information, how you decide, how you organise and how you hold up under pressure. You can stop with your Eigenprint Type. On its own, a type describes how you think and make choices, but it will not tell you what to do about them. QuantumThrive Hub reads it alongside further lenses, then weighs them together rather than reporting separate results.
The artefact then scores each option you are considering against that portrait on five measures, so you leave with a number for each option as well as a description. The full method, including what each lens is, where it comes from and what it does not claim, is set out on the method page.
Two builds
Two builds
A build is the personal artefact you receive. Robert Russell, who founded QuantumThrive Hub, makes each one by hand, for one person at a time.
The focused build answers one question, which direction you should go in. Your Eigenprint is your identity signature, made of several lenses. The focused build uses three of them:
- Your Eigenprint Type is our own assessment of how you take in information and make decisions.
- Eigenprint Path is a number worked out from your birth date.
- Eigenprint Sky is also worked out from your birth date. It places you at one of twelve points in a cycle.
Then the focused build scores the three directions that suit you best, and any options you are already weighing up, on the same five measures.
The comprehensive build answers three questions: which direction you should go in, what is stopping you, and which year is right to start going that way. It adds a lens based on your name, and a check on which years suit that start.

What the number says: it scores the degree, not the person. A 4.55 means the choice was a guess, and the reading shows why.

Who builds it
Robert Russell builds every artefact himself. He is a certified Ikigai, life and career coach, and he came to coaching from the work this site is about: entrepreneurship, business development and corporate delivery, with ITIL and Six Sigma along the way. He has run businesses of his own and he has held a role inside a corporate. Many people reading this are in one of those two places now.
The method shows its working. Each lens is named with where it comes from and what it cannot tell you, every score is worked out fresh for you with the reasoning on the page, and where the evidence disagrees with what you told him, the artefact says so. You are trusting a practitioner you can look up and a method you can read, and the method page sets out what it does not claim.

“How is this different from the test we did at school?”
A school aptitude test measures what you are good at now and matches it to a list of jobs.
The artefact works the other way round. It builds a picture of how you think, decide and recover from setbacks. It then explains where each part of that picture comes from. Then it shows you the reasoning rather than the conclusion. You end up being able to weigh up an option nobody has thought to put in front of you.
“This is my own money, and I do not have much of it”
A fair objection. It is your money, so the trade should be fair too.
The first step costs nothing. You create the account, answer a short assessment, and your Eigenprint Type comes back straight away, so you see whether it speaks to you before you spend a rand.
Weigh the build against what a wrong guess costs instead. A year in the wrong degree costs more than this build, in fees alone, before you count the year itself. The build is paid once, before that year starts.
If the build is out of reach right now, a single session with Robert is a smaller step to start with. You leave with a direction to explore.
“What if I get this wrong and there is no one else to blame?”
That pressure is real, and a good reason to take your time over the decision, but not to put it off.
The artefact does not hand you a verdict to follow blindly. It hands you a description of how you work, where each part of it comes from, and a score of how well an option fits. You still decide. The decision itself changes: it becomes reasoned instead of guessed. If it turns out wrong, it was a considered call, not a shrug.
Deciding alone is not the same as deciding blind.

I am doing this myself. Do I need a parent involved?
You can do it alone from eighteen. You open the account, answer the questions and pay, and the artefact comes to you.
Under eighteen, the law says a parent or guardian has to open the account and give consent. Send them the page for parents and guardians.
I do not even know if I am studying next year. Does this still help?
Yes. The artefact is not built around one path into a degree. It reads who you are, then scores a direction against that reading. A direction can be a degree, a trade, an apprenticeship, work, or a year to figure it out properly.
Not knowing yet is the actual starting point for most people who buy this.
