Who this is

My name is Robert Russell, and I build every Career Identity Artefact myself.

I am a certified Ikigai, life and career coach. I am based in Johannesburg and I work with clients around the world. Before coaching I ran my own businesses and worked inside a corporate. I have built companies and run business development. I have delivered projects too, using ITIL and Six Sigma along the way. Everyone this site is written for is standing somewhere I once stood.

I built the Eigenprint Method because a single lens on someone is easy to argue with, and I wanted a reading that holds up. Four separate lenses, held together. Each one honest about what it can and cannot tell you. The focused build, the shorter of the two artefacts I make, uses three of them, and the comprehensive build uses all four. I then score where you are now in work, business or studies against what the lenses show. Where the evidence disagrees with what you told me, I say so.

You are trusting a person you can look up and a method you can read. Those two things are all I ask you to trust.

Why I built QuantumThrive Hub

After leaving school I watched my friends head off to university and a career path, and I was left uncertain about my own direction. I have always thought in a logical way, so at eighteen I looked back at everything school had shown me. Almost none of it interested me enough to build a degree and a career around it. So I went straight into the workforce instead.

Twenty years followed. I held nineteen different roles across twelve industries, and I started nine businesses of my own. Some periods went well, including the corporate career I eventually left to start QuantumThrive Hub full time. Other periods were real failures, with real money lost. Every one of them taught me a lesson. But my own identity was still missing through all of it. That question went unanswered for most of my adult life.

I have had a theory since I was young, built as much from watching other people as from watching myself. Everyone has a talent that is theirs alone. I could feel mine, but I lacked the data and a solid enough framework to test it against. So my research turned into what I think of as me-search. I read widely across a range of sciences to understand myself at a deeper level. Good coaching along the way helped me get there faster than I would have alone.

That work led me to a method of my own, which I now call Eigenprint. The method reads a person through four independent lenses. Each is measured and scored on its own terms, then weighted and synthesised into one complete picture.

I ran myself through it a hundred times before I trusted it. What came back was accurate to how I already knew myself, and useful for working out what to do next. So I decided to train as a coach, and build all of it into a method I could deliver to other people.

Four years followed. I developed the approach and tested it in the real world. I took feedback and made changes until I trusted it enough to leave a secure corporate role and back myself completely.

QuantumThrive Hub exists so other people do not have to spend twenty years finding this out the hard way, the way I did. I built it for every stage I went through myself. Leaving school without enough to go on. Running a business that works but no longer feels aligned with where your life is going. Sitting in corporate work that pays well and still is not right.
