The free assessment

Your Eigenprint Type names how you work, and it is free.

You answer a short assessment. You get back a lens on how you take in information, how you decide, and what happens to you under pressure.

Knowing how you operate changes the questions you ask of a job, a course or a business you already run. Your Eigenprint Type is also the first of the four lenses behind your Eigenprint. The work you might do later with Robert Russell, who builds each artefact by hand, starts from what you already hold.

What the assessment is

What your Eigenprint Type is

The Eigenprint Method reads you in four ways, and Eigenprint Type is the first of those lenses.

Eigenprint Type measures how you operate, rather than what you are good at or what you care about. You answer questions that measure five things:

  • Where your attention goes.
  • What you trust as evidence.
  • What settles a decision for you.
  • Whether you like your day planned and settled, or kept open.
  • And what happens to you under pressure.

Each of the five is called an axis. Each axis is a spectrum with two ends, and you sit somewhere along it.

Eigenprint Type describes preference, not ability. You can still do well at a task that sits outside your preference.

QuantumThrive Hub built this assessment, its five axes and its language. It draws on Jung’s public-domain work on psychological types. It also draws on open research into traits that recur across populations.

How you get it

How you get it

Your Eigenprint Type is free, and you get it in one sitting. You create an account, then answer a short assessment that takes 10 to 15 minutes.

There are no right answers. Most of the questions ask about things that have happened to you, rather than about how you see yourself. Answer from what you remember happening over the last few months, not from what you are working towards.

The assessment is built for three starting points:

  • leaving school and choosing a direction
  • running a business you are no longer sure fits you
  • working in a role you do not want to be doing in five years

Answer for where you are.

If you are under eighteen, a parent or guardian creates the account, and you answer the questions yourself.

Your result

What comes back

You get your Eigenprint Type straight away, and you keep it in your account.

You see where you sit on each of the five axes, described in words. You get a Type from your results on four of the five axes. There are sixteen Types, and each has a name. The fifth axis, Under Pressure, sits alongside your Type, and you read the two together.

Your Type belongs to one of four groups, called Clusters. A Cluster is a group of four Types that landed on the same side of two of the axes. The Types in one Cluster work in a similar way, each with its own balance on the other axes.

The four Clusters are:

  • Design
  • Meaning
  • Foundation
  • Momentum

Your Eigenprint Type is a taster. A build draws on up to four separate lenses on who you are, and your Type is the first. Each lens runs deeper in a build than it does here.

Your next step

What comes next

Your next step is a coaching session with Robert. The session is paid, 60 minutes long and online, and you book it in your account once you have your Eigenprint Type. Once you have paid, you’ll get an email, and Robert will be in touch to arrange a time. He opens two more lenses with you in the session, and both come from your birth date:

  • Eigenprint Path is a number worked out from your birth date.
  • Eigenprint Sky is your birth date placed in a twelve-part cycle.

Your first conversation with Robert starts on material you have not seen yet. Read with your Type, the three start to describe one person. In the session, you and Robert also decide which build fits what you want from it.

A build is the full written artefact Robert makes for you by hand. He builds it from your answers, your session and a fuller set of questions you complete afterwards. There are two builds, focused and comprehensive. You see your price on the payment screen for the options you choose.
